Session 1

Connected Culture Framework

Lay the groundwork for building a high performance team and push self-governance down to the lowest levels possible.

Session 2

Vision to Reality

Starting with the end in mind is how you create success on purpose...for yourself and others.

Session 3

Delegation Process - Leader v. Manager v. Doer

Most mangers are "player coaches". How much time do you invest in each hat you wear?

  • Understand role of the leader, vs the manager, vs the doer
  • Process for Delegation + Reverse Delegation
  • Tactic for empowering others to get the information they need to complete their work

Session 4

Skills Transfer Process

Most managers are unconsciously competent, they don't have awareness around how they get things done the way they do. That's why they default to the "watch me method".

Session 5

Goal Setting Meeting Process

The GSM is a critical component to coaching your team. Structured agenda coupled with regular cadence is the name of the game!

Session 6

Effective Team Meetings

Meetings, meetings and more meetings. I don't think many would disagree we have way TOO many meetings. We know they're necessary, but are they always productive?

  • How to keep people engaged and participating - especially virtually

Session 7

DISC Intro - Know Your Team

The golden rule is treat others as you would like to be treated. The Platinum Rule is treat others as they would like to be treated. Big difference!

  • Understand yourself and your unique leadership style
  • Gain greater levels of self awareness
  • Learn to recognize other's styles that are opposite yours

Session 8

DISC Part 2 - How to Adjust Your Style

It's not enough to know your style and that of others, you have to actually adapt your behavior. The one who is most flexible wins! How flexible are you?

  • Learn how to adjust your style to be more like others
  • Improve levels of rapport, increase receptivity and decrease resistance to you or your ideas
  • Become more influential by leveraging your understanding of the different styles

Session 9

Time Management and Organization Process

The number 1 skill all managers MUST have is organization. How do you possibly prioritize or think strategically when your ideas, notes, tasks, initiatives are all in different places?

  • Learn the power of a central repository
  • Examples and tools to reduce capturing things in multiple places
  • Time management funnel and how to process tasks

Session 10

Self-Management - Applying Time Management Tactics

If you can't manage yourself, how will you teach it to others? This is the ultimate skill to model good behavior in!

  • How your own self limiting beliefs are affecting your task list
  • No such thing as time management, only self management
  • Self regulation tools to keep you on track

Session 11

Time Wasters and Coaching Plans

Understanding what keeps you from performing is key to creating new outcomes. Using DISC, we'll explore how your time challenges are a manifestation of your personality.

  • Time waster by DISC style
  • Strategies for overcoming natural challenges
  • How to coach others who struggle with time management

Session 12

Putting it All Together
